The South Carolina Opioid Recovery Fund Board (“SCORF Board”) was created by the South Carolina Opioid Recovery Act, SC Code §11-58-10 et seq., to administer and disburse the South Carolina Opioid Recovery Fund in accordance with the terms of In re South Carolina Opioid Litigation settlement agreements. Money from the South Carolina Opioid Recovery Fund will be distributed by the SCORF Board to help address and remediate the impact of the opioid epidemic in South Carolina.
Apply for Funds
The South Carolina Opioid Recovery Fund Board (SCORF) is now accepting applications for SC Opioid Recovery Funds. The first deadline to submit applications for funds from the Guaranteed Political Subdivision fund is DECEMBER 2, 2022. The first deadline to submit applications for funds from the Discretionary Subfund is JANUARY 15, 2023.
South Carolina counties, eligible municipalities, nonprofits, hospitals, state agencies, and others interested in applying for Opioid Recovery Funds must submit requests that seek funding for an approved abatement strategy listed in the settlement agreement.
