The South Carolina Opioid Recovery Fund Board (“SCORF Board”) abides by state laws relating to open meetings and public information, including Title 30, Chapter 4 of the South Carolina Code (the Freedom of Information Act). The SCORF Board holds at least four regular meetings each year and may hold additional meetings at the request of the Chair or written request of five other members of the SCORF Board. All meetings are open to the public, and public notice of meetings is given as required by state law.
The SCORF Board may also convene in a closed, non-public meeting pursuant to section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code. All minutes and documents of a closed meeting remain under seal, subject to release only upon order of a court of competent jurisdiction.
