The South Carolina Opioid Recovery Fund Board (“SCORF Board”) abides by state laws relating to open meetings and public information, including Title 30, Chapter 4 of the South Carolina Code (the Freedom of Information Act). The SCORF Board holds at least four regular meetings each year and may hold additional meetings at the request of the Chair or written request of five other members of the SCORF Board. All meetings are open to the public, and public notice of meetings is given as required by state law.
The SCORF Board may also convene in a closed, non-public meeting pursuant to section 30-4-70 of the South Carolina Code. All minutes and documents of a closed meeting remain under seal, subject to release only upon order of a court of competent jurisdiction.
The Board is very pleased to have received more than 60 funding requests during the recent application period.
Due to the volume of requests, the Board’s review and consideration of the applications will be split between two (2) meetings:
A meeting on December 10, 2025 to address applications FA-121- 35, and FA-140-150.
A meeting on January 7, 2025 to address applications FA- 151-166, FA-172-183, & FA-200-201.
We recognize the January meeting is post-project start date and will disburse funds immediately upon Board decision.
Thank you for your funding requests and interest in combatting the opioid epidemic in South Carolina.
